Data uploaded here is for the project "UNRAVELING GENOMIC EVOLUTIONARY DYNAMICS IN HIGH GRADE SEROUS OVARIAN CANCER USING OVIDUCTAL ORGANOID MODELS" . This project aims to systematically explore the evolutionary dynamics of CNAs during HGSOC’s initiation and progression, and to functionally characterize the therapeutic vulnerabilities associated with chromosome 8q amplification – one of the most frequent and clinically relevant CNAs in HGSOC. Here, HGSOC precursor lesions are modelled via TP53 knockout in a non-malignant fallopian tube epithelium cell line FT190 and patient-derived benign fallopian tube organoids. Organoid models are successfully established and are currently undergoing the planned 18-month long-term culture to recapitulate disease evolution. Longitudinal sha llow whole-genome sequencing is performed periodically to track CNA dynamics over time.
