Sequencing and de novo assembly of the transcriptome of the mangrove fungus Pestalotiopsis sp. strain NCi6

The fungus Pestaltotiopsis sp. strain NCi6 was recently isolated in mangrove. In order to study the lignocellulytic arsenal of this fungus, it was grown on Rhizophora stylosa wood, and its transcriptome was captured and sequenced. The sequencing reads were de novo assembled and the resulting sequences functionnaly annotated.
