Replication data for: Cambodia (2007): Family Planning TRaC-M Study Evaluating Quality of Care of among Social Franchising Providers in Kampong Thom and Kampot. First Round.

In January 2007, PSI/Cambodia established socially franchised Sun Quality Health Clinics in the KfW project areas. In June and August 2007, the TRaC-M survey reported here was conducted among SQHN clinics in Kampot and Kampong Thom and among a control group of non-SQHN private clinics. The purpose of the TRAC-M survey is to provide timely, cost-effective evidence for monitoring the quality of PSI/Cambodia's SQHN clinics and compare these to standard private clinics across the project areas. This study provides baseline results at the clinic level in terms of family planning services. The objectives of this baseline TRaC-M survey were to: 1) Measure the levels of minimum quality standards for family planning achieved in SQHN service delivery points and compare them with those found among non-SQHN service delivery points in the private sector; 2) Monitor healthcare providers' knowledge, self-efficacy and skills related to family planning; 3) Identify priority indicators on which SQHN clinics need improvement.
