资源简介:
This dataset presents high-resolution measurements of temperature-dependent CO2 assimilation in the tropical tree species Calophyllum inophyllum, collected between February 22 and March 25, 2024, in urban areas of Panamá City, Panamá. Using the FAsTeR method (Faster Assimilation Temperature Response), we quantified leaf-level photosynthetic response curves to determine the optimal temperature at which maximum CO2 assimilation occurs.Data were gathered from five individual trees located near Metropolitano Park and the Tupper Building of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Each tree was sampled across multiple days and under two diurnal treatments—morning (AM) and afternoon (PM)—to capture temporal variation in photosynthetic performance. File names contain metadata including date, species, tree number, number of leaves, treatment time, replicate number, and method tag (FAS). Also, it is important to note that the format of this database is in that of the LI-6800, and it is necessary to use an R function to handle the data in this format. The function Read_6800.R from https://github.com/garenj/Faster-method.
