Data on animal species in the Biosphere Reserve of W Bénin. Data mobilized in the framework of JRS Biodiversity Foundation funded project in Benin

These data were collected systematically during patrols activities within the W park and its huntings zones. For all the animal observations, geographical coordinates were recorded using GPS by fauna guards. These data were also directly registered on paper sheets and then stored into a specific geographical information system called SMART that help for ecological and protection purposes.
