AIR PRESSURE and Other Data from UNKNOWN and Other Platforms From World-Wide Distribution from 19920101 to 19920630 (NODC Accession 9200254)

Temperature and Salinity data, recorded in a specific format for radio transmission (TESAC). Data was collected by various countries in conjuction with IGOSS (Integrated Global Ocean Stations System) bathythermograph data from January to June 1992 (see NODC Ref#. L01513). Data were recorded in ASCII and submitted on a 9-track, 6250 BPI magnetic tape by Japanese Hydrographic Office, Tokyo, Japan. The originator's documentation includes tape specifications, header information, a sample of the data, and a 1992 half year cast plot of both TESAC and BATHY data. The Principal Investigator was Dr. Osamu Yamada, Japanese Oceanographic Data Center.
