资源简介:
The Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP) is a flagship program of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Launched in 2004, the aim of IDSP is to strengthen the country's disease surveillance system for early detection and response to outbreaks of communicable diseases. The IDSP is a decentralized system that operates at the national, state, and district levels. It is based on the principles of timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data collection and analysis. It's "Weekly Outbreaks" report provides detailed district level information on disease outbreaks reported in the country. Since, IDSP monitoring is based on public health facilities, one limitations of IDSP is the lack of integrated with the private health care sector in disease surveillance. In addition, it does not collect data mortality.
