CDA Sonic Drift: Geospatial Workflow for Art-Driven Sonic Planning Research (AI-open)

This deposit presents the AI-open geospatial workflow developed by Dr. Caroline Claus within a ReSilence S+T+ARTS Horizon Europe Artistic Residency (GA 101070278). It provides a reproducible, research-grade framework for collecting, structuring, analysing, and presenting geolocated sonic data in the context of art-driven urban planning research. The workflow is organised into three interlinked protocols: Protocol 1 — Field Score & Field Data Recording Structured geolocated listening and recording (sidewalk), sensory-ethnographic notes, public feedback, and GDPR-aware passive logging. Includes Field Score documentation and all CSV/GeoJSON templates required for consistent and safe field data collection. Protocol 2 — GIS Analysis & Visualisation Tracing of biophony/technophony presence (GP/TP), LF/HF cues, and perceived discomfort (GPS/GAS/TPS/TAS) based on Protocol-1 field data, and their integration into a QGIS template for PRE/POST scenario analysis across typologies (Greenspace / Avenue / Street). Includes a pre-configured QGIS project (.qgz), style files (.qml), and sample layers (.gpkg). Protocol 3 — Presentation & Synthesis Workflow Methods for assembling typology-based synthesis maps, presence/absence diagrams, stress grids, and PRE/POST comparison materials suitable for planning, design, public discussion, and research dissemination. AI-open principle Templates for participation input and AI integration share the same schema. The workflow enables integration of AER/USS or other models without redistributing AI models, weights, or raw probabilities.
