Breaking continuity to prevent catastrophic building collapse - Experimental dataset 2 (Subassembly tests)

This dataset contains the sensor acquisitions used to monitor the structural response of two reinforced concrete (RC) subassemblies during tests designed to assess the potential for collapse propagation in building structures. Two tests were carried out on identical specimens with different boundary conditions, leading to distinct outcomes: Test 1: Collapse was isolated. Test 2: Collapse propagation occurred. Two separate data files are provided, one for each test. Each file contains the data collected from all sensors used to monitor the structural response during testing: 77 strain gauges, 27 displacement transducers, and 7 inclinometers. Each data column includes a header specifying the corresponding sensor name. The type and location of all sensors are shown in the accompanying drawings: Sensors monitoring auxiliary elements forming the test setup and global displacements of the specimen. Sensors placed on the external surfaces of the RC specimen. Embedded strain gauges in the column and beams. Embedded strain gauges in the slab.
