Energy Consumption for Total Transport Sector - Total (IEA)

The transport sector includes all fuels for transport except international marine bunkers [ISIC Divisions 60, 61 and 62]. It includes transport in the industry sector and covers road, railway, air, internal navigation (including small craft and coastal shipping not included under marine bunkers), fuels used for transport of materials by pipeline and non-specified transport. Fuel used for ocean, coastal and inland fishing should be included in agriculture. For many countries, the split between international civil aviation and domestic air appears to allocate fuel use for both domestic and international departures of domestically owned carriers to domestic air.
