A 70% partial hepatectomy (PHx) was performed on male super-enhancer Nacc1-SE (located near the Nacc1 gene) knockout mice to evaluate the contribution of Nacc1-SE to liver regeneration. In vitro, primary mouse hepatocytes and Hepa1-6 cells were used to investigate the underlying mechanisms of Nacc1-SE in modulating PHx.
