Predicting anti-TNF treatment response in Crohn's disease using multi-omics (PRJCA024845)

The inability to a priori define the medication most likely to benefit a patient introduces a potential delay in achieving remission, leading to protracted morbidity. Thus, we conducted an untargeted metabolomics and integrative microbiomics analysis to assess the alterations of gut metabolites and bacterial, fungal communities in CD patients to reveal the potential metabolic and microbial hints which may predict the efficacy of anti-TNF therapy in this specific CD population and provide guidance for clinical treatment.
