Data and code underlying: European High-Speed Rail Infrastructure: A network evolution approach

This dataset supports the master's thesis work of Filippo Borgogno at TU Delft, titled <em>ENGINEER</em> (Evolutionary Network Growth model with Infrastructure and Network Effects considerations for European Rail). The research combines transport modelling and network science to explore long-term high-speed rail network development in Europe. The dataset includes input and output files used in the model, derived from publicly available official sources. Data formats include Excel, CSV, and GeoTIFF files, covering infrastructure costs, population, demand estimates, and network evolution.
