Phylogenetic, Ecological, and Agronomic Characterization of Coffea dactylifera, a Wild Coffee Relative from the Democratic Republic of Congo: climate analysis

The document 'climate_database_6_25.xlsx' contains all occurrence points used to generate the distribution map of Coffea dactylifera, C. canephora and C. arabica; and for conducting the climate analysis using the 19 bioclimatic variables from Worldclim (Fick & Hijmans, 2017: DOI:10.1002/joc.5086). In the first column, labeled as 'database', each occurrence point is labeled according to its source: Rainbio (Dauby et al., 2016; DOI:10.3897/phytokeys.74.9723, GBIF (GBIF.org (20 January 2025) GBIF Occurrence Download https://doi.org/10.15468/dl.j3e9g9; GBIF.org (16 January 2025) GBIF Occurrence Download https://doi.org/10.15468/dl.xu949c) or the herbarium database of BR (=Meise). This file includes the values for the bioclim variables and the coordinate data in the decimal degrees format (Lat = Latitude; Lon = Longitude). The Rscript 'R_climate_analysis25.R' was used to perform a correlation analysis among the bioclimatic variables, Principal Component Analysis, and to generate scatter density plots.
