Transcriptomic analysis implicated that PM2.5 could influence genes involved in the IRE1α-mediated unfolded protein responses and reduce the expression of DNAJB9, a co-chaperone formed a complex with BiP/IRE1α to inhibit the activation of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. We investigate the mRNA expression of Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells induced by PM2.5 exposure by microarray. Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells were treated with PM2.5 (50 μg/mL) containing medium for 24 h. Total RNA was harvested using TRIzol reagent (Thermo, USA).
