Currently comma only G140L has a true LFLTFILE (the G140M comma E140M comma E140H gratings use a dummy single-valued flat). To test for uncorrected low-spatial order variations in the FUV flat field comma standard stars GD153 and G191B2B will be observed with G140L and G140M at multiple locations on the MAMA detector comma sampling the range of locations that GO observations are centered due to the monthly MAMA offsetting. If uncorrected variations >1% are detected comma the lamp spectra taken for generating PFLTFILE files will be used to create a new LFLTFILE following the discussion in ISR 1996-15. These data will also be used to test the improvements made by these new flat files.
