Clothianidin, a neonicotinoid insecticide, exerts contact and stomach toxic effects, with root systemic activity and translaminar translocation capability. It is utilized for soil treatment, foliar application and seed treatment to control piercing-sucking and chewing pests on rice, corn, rapeseed, fruit trees, vegetables and citrus, such as planthoppers, stink bugs, aphids and Bemisia tabaci.
Acute poisoning induced by clothianidin may present with symptoms including nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, restlessness and convulsions. Acute intoxication via food consumption is rare, but long-term consumption of foods with excessive clothianidin residues may pose certain adverse impacts on human health.
This dataset can be used to perform safety assessments of clothianidin residues in solanaceous vegetables, providing technical support and reference for government regulatory agencies and consumer purchasing decisions.
1. Data Collection: Collect information such as sampling region, sampling site, sample name and packaging classification of solanaceous vegetable products;
2. Clothianidin Residue Detection: Obtain relevant clothianidin residue data by detecting the clothianidin content in solanaceous vegetable samples;
3. Data Processing: Analyze the levels of non-conforming test results for clothianidin residues in solanaceous vegetables to assess their edible safety. The non-conforming detection rate of clothianidin residues in solanaceous vegetables = Number of non-conforming clothianidin residue test results for solanaceous vegetables / Total number of solanaceous vegetable samples tested for clothianidin residues;
