Railroad Boundary

The purpose of this dataset is to depict areas where the Alaska Railroad Corporation has some interest in lands. The interest represented which may include a variety of interests including fee, exclusive use right-of-way or other interest. This information is provided for general reference only and is not intended to be an authoritative location of boundaries as determined with legally defensible methods. This data is managed by the Alaska Railroad Land Services team. It was established by drawing record U.S. Surveys in AutoCAD and rotating/translating them based on the railroad centerline as surveyed by moving PPK. It is instantly updated when changes are made. The data is stored and served in NAD 1983 (2011) StatePlane Alaska 4 FIPS 5004 (US Feet), without a Vertical Datum.
