Rothia kristinae strain:AAM01 Genome sequencing

We announce the draft genome sequence of Rothia kristenae strain AAM01, isolated from traditional yogurt collected in Bangladesh. This Gram-positive bacterium, belonging to the family Micrococcaceae, is known for its presence in the human oral cavity and has been occasionally reported in dairy environments. The draft genome of Rothia kristinae AAM01is 2,414,719 bp long and has an average G + C content of 71.8%. The availability of this genome sequence will serve as a valuable resource for comparative genomics studies, functional analyses, and understanding the microbial diversity of traditional fermented milks in Bangladesh.
