The object of this data set was to indentify genes altered by miR-19b-3p in differentiated human skeletal muscle myotubes. We transfected human skeletal muscle cells as differentiated myotubes either with a miR-19b-3p mimic (miR) or a negative control mimic (NC) (miR™ miRNA Precursors; Thermo Fisher Scientific). Cells were transfected twice with a gap of 48 hours between transfections and RNA was extracted by TRIzol 48 hours after the second transfection. In total there are 8 samples of human skeletal muscle cells; 2 samples (NC and miR; paired analysis) from 4 different human donors.
