My PhD aims to understand how plants sense and respond to temperature fluctuations. Using various genetic and molecular studies, I uncover novel genes which are involved in temperature response in Arabidopsis thaliana. Each of these genes have distinct molecular function, and they belong to various pre-existing signalling pathways. These novel genes could serve as useful targets for developing climate resilient plants in near future.
