Transcriptomic changes of the aging choroid plexus in wistar rats.

Choroid plexus is the main producer of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). It is speculated that CSF production decreases with aging. We are investigating the transcriptomic changes happening in the aging choroid plexus together with quantative measurements of the CSF production to elucidate the possible molecular mechanisms for these CSF production changes.脉络丛（Choroid plexus）是脑脊液（cerebrospinal fluid, CSF）的主要产生来源。有研究推测，脑脊液生成量会随衰老进程而降低。本研究正通过定量检测脑脊液生成量，并分析衰老脉络丛中发生的转录组变化，以阐明此类脑脊液生成量改变可能存在的分子机制。
