Driving factors of macroplastic dynamics in rivers: a global review

This is the database of the references used for the study's review which was focused on synthesizing current research on the role of environmental factors in macroplastic dynamics in riverine envrironments. Environmental factors considered for the review includes hydrometeorological (e.g., rainfall, discharge), anthropogenic (e.g., mismanaged plastic waste, population density), and river characteristics (geographical features, e.g., riparian vegetation, slope, and man-made, e.g., dam, weir).
