ConDes Software for Calculating Feasible Separation Regions and Conceptual Design of Distillation Processes for Ternary Mixtures

The ConDes software calculates feasible separation regions for continuous distillation in trayed or packed columns with a single feed and products as a saturated liquid or vapor. The column may be equipped with a total or partial condenser and a total or partial reboiler. Once the region of feasible separations has been identified and the distillate and bottoms compositions specified, a distillation column can be designed using the boundary-value design method. The use of ConDes is described in the manual. Excel files containing sample data are attached.
