Anthropogenic landscape alteration, but not urbanization, influences non-adaptive evolution in common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca L.)

We analyzed patterns of neutral genetic variation in the plant common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) to understand the extent to which urbanization influenced genetic diversity, effective population size, and population genetic structure in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
