The tomato plant (Solanum lycopersicum) is particularly vulnerable to chilling injury, Streptomyces TOR3209 is a PGPR strain able to colonize tomato tissues and induce physiological changes that increase tomato tolerance to low temperature (LT). To better understand how TOR3209 induced the observed phenomena, RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) technology was used to monitor tomato plantlets after exposure to LT.
