Dataset accompanying: Microbiological safety and antimicrobial resistance of foodborne pathogens in fresh vegetables from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Microbiological safety and antimicrobial resistance of foodborne pathogens in fresh vegetables from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso: prevalence, hygiene practices, risk assessment, and HACCP-based control”. The deposit contains processed data, analysis results, tables and figures related to microbiological contamination, antimicrobial resistance profiles, selected β-lactamase genes, hygiene and handling practices, screening-level risk assessment and HACCP-based control options for fresh vegetables collected in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The study was conducted using fresh vegetable samples collected from farms, markets, restaurants and supermarkets in Ouagadougou between January and December 2024. Questionnaire-derived information, where included, has been anonymized and does not contain names, contact details, addresses, signatures or direct personal identifiers.
