Refuge Conveyance Waterways - Central Valley Project Improvement Act [ds2635]

This dataset shows the conveyance waterways and features used to deliver Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA) refuge water supplies by U.S. Bureau of Reclamations Refuge Water Supply Program to the 19 CVPIA wetland habitat areas. This data assumes the likely paths water conveyors use to deliver water per wheeling/conveyance contracts with U.S. Bureau of Reclamations Refuge Water Supply Program or contracts from one of the refuge managing agencies (Grassland RCD, USFWS, CDFW). Inlet locations to CDFW and USFWS lands were verified with respective refuge managers; Grassland RCD data is unverified. Data are sourced from personal communications, project environmental documentation, conveyance contracts, and the San Joaquin Basin Action Plan Implementation Plan. Data does not show all possible or potential conveyance structures or waterways a conveying entity could use to deliver CVPIA refuge water supplies.
