资源简介:
Histoplasma, a genus of dimorphic fungal pathogens, is the most common cause of fungal respiratory infections in immunocompetent hosts. Histoplasma is endemic in the Ohio and Mississippi River Valleys in the United States and also distributed worldwide. We sequenced two lab stocks, UCSF2 and UCSF3, of Histoplasma ohiense G217B using Oxford Nanopore long-read sequencing technology complemented with Illumina short reads. These are distinct stocks to the G217B sequenced as GCA_017607445.1 (UCSF1) and the three corresponding assemblies differ by genomic rearrangements. Based on maximum parsimony analysis, UCSF3 is most representative of the original G217B isolate. Here we report the assembly of UCSF2.
