Gene expression profiling is a powerful tool to evaluate the mechanism of the cell response to AuNP stimuli. We evaluated the gene expression profiles of AuNP-treated MCF-7 cells through RNA sequencing and bioinformatics approaches. Compared to the SC-AuNPs, the DX-AuNPs demonstrated obviously greater activity in terms of regulating gene expression.
