This dataset supports the study titled "Passive Thermal Enhancement of Composite Metallic Roofs through Rooftop PV Integration: A Calibrated Case Study in Mexico." The research evaluates the dual role of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems as renewable energy generators and passive thermal modifiers in three lightweight industrial warehouses located in Tecámac, Mexico.The dataset includes:Hourly electricity consumption profiles generated from synthetic modeling calibrated against 2021 CFE utility billing data.Dynamic simulation results obtained with EnergyPlus v23.2.0 through Ladybug Tools v1.8.0, covering both pre- and post-PV installation scenarios.Annual energy balances, including self-consumption rates, PV coverage rates, net savings, excess production, and deficit energy metrics.Hourly indoor operative temperature profiles before and after PV system integration.This dataset can be used for further research in multiscale energy simulation, passive cooling strategies, PV integration analysis, and thermal resilience assessment for lightweight industrial envelopes under semi-arid climatic conditions.
