This study used Illumina single-end RNA-sequencing to examine gene expression differences between Prrx1-profiecent and Prrx1-deficient pancreatic stellate cell lines (PSC3 and 806) and fibroblasts (699). The primary cell lines were isolated from the Sm22-CreERT; Prrx1fl/fl mice and the recombination of the cells was conducted in vitro (TAM treated group). We measured genes differentially expressed among Prrx1-profiecent and Prrx1-deficient pancreatic stellate cell lines (PSC3 and 806) grown in 2D and Prrx1-profiecent and Prrx1-deficient fibroblasts (699) grown in 3D, which reflect the Prrx1-driven plasticity of CAFs in PDAC
