资源简介:
This data set includes wireless network capture files (.pcap) on a Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) link consisting of one source node and one destination node. This data set comes from the following experiments: a source node sends a CBR data flow (generated with iPerf3) towards a destination node. A third node, configured in monitor mode, captures all the packets it receives, hopefully the packets from the flow we wish to monitor. The monitor node is located close to the destination node. Warning: the monitor node is NOT the destination node. They do not necessarily receive all the same packets. The nodes of the platform are Single-Board Computers (SBC) with APU 4C4 motherboards, each equipped a with Qualcomm Atheros QCA986x/988x 802.11ac Wireless Network Card (WNC) embedding 3 antennas. They run an out-of-the-box Debian 10 (Buster) Operating System (OS) with the 4.19.0-18-amd64 kernel and use the ath10k driver for the wireless network cards (WNC). When not specified, in each experiment, the data flow is saturated, the packet size is the iPerf3 default value (1470 bytes), and there is no obstacle between the communicating nodes. Each experiment has a duration of 120 seconds. We only capture the first 200 bytes of each packet as we are interested in the contents of physical and link levels header (layers 1 and 2 of the TCP/IP stack), thus limiting storage space. The data set is split in several archives. Archive names indicate where experiments have been carried out and whether obstacles were located between the source node and the destination node (more details can be found in each file description). In each archive, file names follow the following format "position""distance""run".pcap: - position indicates the antenna positions: "vertical" for a vertical position, perpendicular to the floor; « horizontal » for a horizontal position, parallel to the floor; « fan » where antennas on the side form an Y while the middle one is vertical; "left" for all the antennas oriented in the same direction (arbitrary chosen); - distance indicate the distance between the source and destination nodes; - run: for each scenarios, 3 runs were made for statistical purpose Please note that archive and file name formats can change with additional information, like the CBR flow throughput or the packet size. In that case, more information are given in the archives’ description.
