In situ oxygen profiles across the sediment-water interface in 3 different salt marsh tidal ponds in the Plum Island Estuary

Measurements were conducted in the middle of the day between 11:10 and 14:40.Instrumentation: Optode microprofiling device from PreSens GmbH (Germany, www.presens.de) with an Automated Micromanipulator (AM), needle-type optodes for measurements of oxygen (PM-PSt7).Time: July 2018.Depth "0" is defined as the top of the microphytobenthos layer at the sediment-water interface.
