This dataset contains satellite-tracked surface drifter data, which provides observations of sea surface ocean currents at a 6-hour temporal resolution. Additionally, it covers a total of 12,436 9-day trajectory segments spanning from 1993 to 2020, with each segment also recorded at a 6-hour temporal resolution. This dataset has been gridded to support Lagrangian drift simulation tasks.
