资源简介:
Alcohol is a widely consumed beverage in human society, but it can cause toxic effects.Previous studies on the effects of alcohol consumption on male reproductive function have focused solely on hormonal regulation and physiological changes. However, spermatogenesis is a complex process that requires systemic regulation, including intrinsic regulation by germ cell-specific genes. This study presents a transcriptomic analysis of the effect of chronic ethanol administration on mouse testes. The administration of ethanol to the testis resulted in several alterations in the transcription of testicular genes. Although the changes in expression were mild, a group of genes related to sperm were observed. Overall design: Chronic ethanol administration was designed for a period of 16 weeks.A daily administration of 10ml of the LDC liquid diet per head was carried out. Prior to the experiment, initial acclimatization was conducted by feeding the control LDC liquid diet for 5 days.
