Regional groundwater model domains within the MBC subregion

## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset was created within the Bioregional Assessment Programme. Data has not been derived from any source datasets. Metadata has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme.\n\n\n\nThis dataset represents all existing groundwater model domain spatial extents that have been developed which overlap the Maranoa-Balonne-Condamine subregion.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nFor illustration in the MBC 2.6.2 product.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset contains a number of shapefiles defining groundwater model domains that fall within the MBC subregion.\n\n\n\nThe original dataset was developed from a groundwater model review carried out as part of the Great Artesian Basin Water Resource Assessment (GABWRA) project to ascertain the status of groundwater model applications.\n\n\n\nThe models review was based on publicly available reports (eg EISs from the internet) and jurisdictional model development reports. Data of interest were collated in spreadsheets and GIS.\n\n\n\nThe publicly released report is:\n\nSmith AJ and Welsh WD, 2011.
