"Quarter-Hourly Forecasted Electricity Consumption Dataset for Luxembourg (2015\u20132026)"

"This dataset contains quarter-hourly day-ahead forecasted electricity consumption data for the country of Luxembourg covering the period from 1 January 2015 to 2 March 2026. The data were originally published via the SMARD electricity market data platform and are provided under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. The forecasted consumption values represent the total system load calculated by the responsible Transmission System Operator (TSO) based on historical load profiles, meteorological conditions, and socio-economic factors in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 543\/2013. The dataset includes quarter-hour resolution measurements expressed in megawatt-hours (MWh), converted from megawatts (MW) as specified by ENTSO-E Transparency Platform reporting standards. The data were exported in CSV format in multiple two-year intervals and subsequently merged into a unified compressed archive for research usability. This dataset enables applications in short-term load forecasting, residual load analysis, renewable integration studies, energy market modeling, and machine learning-based energy demand prediction. It is particularly suitable for time-series modeling, deep learning forecasting frameworks, and comparative studies of European electricity consumption patterns."
