Transcriptomic and Physiological effects of prebiotics on Totoaba macdonaldi

In the present study, we evaluated the effect of three different prebiotics - inulin, B-glucan, and chitosan - on the liver transcriptomics of juvenile Totoaba macdonaldi. Complementarily, we performed immunological analyzes in blood and analyzed the activity of digestive enzymes in the intestine to obtain a broader picture of the metabolic response to these experimental diets.
