<p>This survey was conducted by the Washington Post/Kaiser Foundation/Harvard University. A national sample of 1,970 adults including oversamples of 380 blacks, 197 hisapnics, and 345 asians, were interviewed July 20-August 9, with a follow-up Septmeber 18-28, 1995. Major topics covered: the American Dream; Congressional action; potential reductions of the federal budget; federal programs and minorites; reasons minorities have social and economic problems; government responsibility for equality.</p>
