Source Dataset for "Global Energy Transport and Conversion in the Solar Wind–Mars Interaction: MAVEN Observations""

Dataset Description This dataset contains processed data products used in the study “Global Energy Transport and Conversion in the Solar Wind–Mars Interaction: MAVEN Observations”. The data are derived from nine years of magnetic field and plasma measurements by NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) mission. They are organized into MATLAB .mat files for reproducibility and ease of use. Contents BJ_3d.mat: Three-dimensional distributions of current density (J) and magnetic field (B). Electric_field_3d.mat: Three-dimensional distributions of the electric field (E). Electron_3d_new2.mat: Three-dimensional distributions of electron parameters (e.g., density, temperature, and thermal pressure). Ion_3d.mat: Three-dimensional distributions of ion parameters (density, velocity). JdotE_three_components.mat: Decomposition of the electromagnetic energy conversion term (J·E) into different terms. Poynting_flux_JdotE.mat: the electromagnetic energy transport (Poynting flux) and conversion (J·E). Usage Notes All files are in MATLAB .mat format and can be accessed using MATLAB or compatible scientific computing tools.
