Diamond V556 olivine inclusion FTIR data

This polarised FTIR data was collected to ascertain the crystallographic orientations of four olivine inclusions in diamond by using the orientation dependence of Si-O overtone bands (Wincott et al., forthcoming). The file name "X_YYY" is used to represent the inclusion (X) and the orientation of the polariser in degrees (YYY). Each spectrum has undergone an automatic background removal process in Omnic Picta.
