资源简介:
Code and data for reproducing statistical and modeling results, as well as figures 2 and 3 in the main text of "Influence of late Pleistocene sea-level variations on mid-ocean ridge spacing in faulting simulations and a global analysis of bathymetry". The materials are organized as follows: A. Bathymetry: 1. collect_all.m: combines bathymetry data, spectral estimates, region numbers, and other relevant information into one data structure. 2. data: files containing the processed bathymetry and magnetic data for each region in this study. 3. generate_figures: code to generate regional maps and bathymetry, filtered bathymetry, and magnetic profiles for each transect. B. FLAC: 1. simulated abyssal hill profiles. Details on the organization of these files and the parameter variations corresponding to each run can be found in FLAC_parameters.txt. 2. FLAC-MOR: a ready-to-run version of the Fast-Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC) model adapted for mid-ocean-ridges. Original code was provided J.A.~Olive. 3. FLAC_parameters: list of the FLAC parameters used in the various runs included in this study. 4. spacing_flac.m: estimates abyssal hill spacing from FLAC bathymetry output. C. Figures: code to generate Figures 2 and 3 from the main text. D. MORVEL: program to compute spreading rates for each transect using the MORVEL plate motion model. E. Tools: helper scripts for spectral analysis and plotting. Code written by Peter Huybers, Parker Liautaud, and Cristian Proistosescu.
