Kinetic parameters for the growth of ThT fluorescence intensity of mutants inserted by different number of glutamines into Tau244–372/ΔPHF6/ΔPHF6*.

Best-fit values of these kinetic parameters were derived from non-linear least squares modeling of the Hill equation to the experimental data. The concentration of Tau protein was 20 µM, and 20 mM NaH2PO4-Na2HPO4 buffer (pH 7.4) containing 1 mM DTT and 20 µM heparin was used. The assays were carried out at 37°C, and the observation time was 24 h. The ± sign is a standard deviation.
