This dataset explores the factors influencing the practices of COVID-19 prevention in Sarawak, Malaysia, focusing on general public knowledge, awareness, attitudes, and opinions toward standard operating procedures (SOPs). Data were collected from 1,515 respondents aged 13 and above across Sarawak. Preliminary analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0, followed by partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with WarpPLS 7.0 to assess the relationships among the variables. The results show that public knowledge, attitudes, and opinions on SOPs significantly impact COVID-19 prevention practices, while public awareness does not have a significant effect. The study highlights the importance of educating the public on COVID-19 prevention and encouraging cooperation with government efforts.
