In 2022, Claro – owned by Mexico City-based América Móvil – accounted for more than 47 percent of all pay TV subscriptions in Colombia. UNE-EPM – responsible for the brand Tigo and controlled by Millicom and Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) – held a share of about 22.5 percent.
