POLIGEMDEM_LEG

This dataset contains parliamentary initiatives related to gender identity, gender diversity, trans rights and gender self-determination in Spain. It covers the period from January 2006 to December 2025 and includes initiatives registered in the Spanish national parliament (Cortes Generales) and in the Spanish regional parliaments, excluding the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The dataset was developed as part of the POLIGENDEM project and is intended to facilitate longitudinal and multilevel analysis of parliamentary activity concerning gender identity and gender diversity. It allows users to examine the evolution of legislative and non-legislative initiatives, territorial variation across parliamentary arenas, party strategies, the status of parliamentary initiatives, and the presence or absence of debates and votes for each initiative.
