Data underlying the publication: Bridging Knowledge and Practice: Passive Cooling Strategies and Professional Decision-Making in Panama’s Tropical Residential Design

In the tropical humid climate of Panama, built environment rely on mechanical air-conditioning system to cool interior spaces and chances to implement passive strategies are missed. Therefore, the perception of built environment professionals in this country were gathered trough an online survey to understand their knowledge about passive design strategies for cooling and limitation to implement this approach in their daily practice. The ethical approval of the questionnaire was obtained through the University of Greenwich. An invitation was sent to participant via email. Participation was voluntary and anonymous.
