Long-Term Clinical, Immunological, and Functional Outcomes of Antiretroviral Therapy Among People Living with HIV/AIDS: A Decade-Scale Retrospective Analysis from Yeka Health Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

This study systematically evaluated the long-term clinical, immunological, and functional outcomes of antiretroviral therapy (ART) and the associated predictive factors among people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) at Yeka Health Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A retrospective cohort analysis was performed on medical records of 1,061 patients undergoing ART, stratified into two cohorts based on treatment duration: Group A (>10 years) and Group B (5–10 years). Key metrics analyzed included WHO clinical staging, CD4+ T-cell counts, hemoglobin concentrations, and functional status.
