畜禽遗传资源状况数据库(水牛)

本数据集由国家农业科学数据中心（动物科学和动物医学）建设。
中国地方牛品种资源丰富，数量多，分布广，是世界牛属遗传资源宝库的重要组成部分。本数据集提供了我国26个水牛品种的产地（或分布）、调查数量、主要特性以及图片信息，其中包括地方品种24个和引入品种2个。数据信息会根据品种调查的进展及时更新。

This dataset was developed by the National Agricultural Science Data Center (Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine).
China boasts abundant local cattle genetic resources, with a large number of breeds and wide distribution, making it an important part of the global bovine genetic resource treasure trove.
This dataset provides information including the origin (or distribution), surveyed population size, main characteristics and image resources of 26 water buffalo breeds in China, which comprises 24 local breeds and 2 introduced breeds. The dataset will be updated in a timely manner along with the progress of breed surveys.
